Sophia’s Secret Garden

Sophia’s Secret Garden is a story about six-year-old Sophia Smith and the small garden she creates in a forgotten corner behind the garage. With help from her older brother Jackson, Sophia learns about seeds, plant growth, patience, and working together. The story also provides opportunities to practice sequencing, comprehension, inference, garden vocabulary, and discussion about persistence, cooperation, and family.
